NSW Reconciliation Council Small Grants 
NSWRC has launched its small grants program for 2010. The small grants program aims to foster reconciliation at the grassroots. Applications close 29 January 2010.

 

Indigenous Culture Support

Youth Development and Support Program
The Australian Government’s Youth Development and Support Program funding round for 2009-10 is now open.The Program will make funding available to eligible non-government, not-for-profit organisations to support the delivery of a range of small-scale projects that aim to inspire and encourage young people aged between 12 and 25 years, to engage with government and their community.

 

Volunteer Grants 2009 
Volunteer Grants 2009 provides funding to eligible non-profit organisations to support their volunteers and encourage volunteering. Funding is available to purchase practical and tangible small equipment items, and/or to contribute towards reimbursement of fuel costs to assist volunteers.

 

Community Development Grants Program 2009/10
Community Relations Commission for a Multicultural NSW - General grants – Expressions of interest from not-for-profit incorporated organisations are invited for projects that promote cultural expressions, enhance community development or minimum capital purchases.  Funding of up to $18,200 is available in this category.

 

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Arts 
To support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts organisations to advance Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts in Australia.

 

National Indigenous Cadetship Project 
Dept of Employment & Workplace Relations
To improve the professional employment prospects of Indigenous Australians. The National Indigenous Cadetship Project (NICP) links Indigenous Australian students with employers who can give them work skills and professional employment. Call 1802 102 for more information.

 

Indigenous Wage Subsidy

Aboriginal Business Link Program 
Dept of State and Regional Development (NSW); An Aboriginal business can seek up to 75% of participation costs up to a maximum amount of $2,500.
