e-newsletter / January 2010

Dear Reconciliationist,

Happy New Year!

We hope you had a fun and safe break over the holiday period.

2010 is going to be a big year in reconciliation and we hope you are excited and keen to be involved.

This year NSWRC will be focusing on raising the awareness and understanding of reconciliation among the youth of NSW. The Schools Reconciliation Challenge 2010 will be a great competition that will engage young people in schools across the State.

NSWRC will also aim to grow the people's movement through the renewed Small Grants Program which will make over $35,000 available to Local Reconciliation Groups during the year.

The Council will continue to work in partnership with other organisations and advocate for social justice, equality and Indigenous Rights. In 2010, NSWRC hopes it can achieve a more coherent and powerful voice for the rights and reconciliation movement.

We look forward to the year ahead and hope you will be involved.
