Newcastle Aboriginal Support Group

“The Newcastle Aboriginal Support Group (NASG), the first in NSW, was formed in September 1980. We are now linked in with reconciliation groups all over NSW that have formed through the people’s reconciliation movement.”

NASG aims to support Australian Indigenous peoples, particularly of the Newcastle and Hunter Region, in their efforts for equality and independence.

The Convenors for this group are P Cameron and Sharon Claydon .
